Company Information
The original Depot opened in Wayne Towne Center
adjacent to JC Penney's in 1975 with the marketing help of Levi Strauss and
Co. Over the next several decades The Depot operated multiple fast
paced enclosed mall stores throughout most of northern New Jersey.
In 1988 The Depot once again expanded it's operation
and size. This time into the foothills of Passaic County in West Milford,
N.J. within the confines of a quaint turn of the century village. This store
location which is considered the flagship for the company has been expanded
several times and is the largest store currently operating as a Depot.
Today The Depot carries national brand clothing at
discount prices for the entire family. Our senior buying staff purchases
clothing from manufacturers like Liz Claiborne, Columbia and Woolrich
Sportswear, Tribal Sportswear, Wigwam Socks, William Carter, OshKosh B'gosh,
Levi's, Lee, Wrangler, Jockey Underwear, and a multitude of others. In most
instances these manufacturers will reflect their suggested retails and The
Depot will discount these products. Additional clothing purchases are made
from off price specialists and contractors to supplement the discounted
national brands being carried within our stores.
